Victor (3rd from left) meets with local Mayor and Sauk County, WI officials to share insights and encouragement of Lavender’s economic potential.

Sauk County, home to 3 new lavender farms in the past three years, is encouraged by Victor’s assessment:

“Sequim, Washington, had only one lavender farm 20 years ago,” Gonzalez said. “I have now propagated over 1 million plants with over 400 varieties and our industry has grown and adds $4 million to the city of Sequim’s economy each year during their annual lavender festival. Sequim’s population is only 4,500 people, so it’s a huge impact.”

Today Sequim boasts over 20 lavender farms, welcoming million of lavender seekers annually.

We’re planting as fast as we can……….

January 28th, 2016 by Jacki

CULTIVARSand still we can’t keep up!

Except for small orders of certain varieties, any orders received now will not be available for shipment until the fall planting season. We regret that this may set some of you back in your plans but we have just simply been overwhelmed with lavender orders again this year. Our quality lavender plants are so popular all over North America that we are sold out again. We’ve added another greenhouse to accommodate our growth last year but it appears that one was not enough. The lavender is selling faster than we can grow it. We don’t use any chemical fertilizers or artificial light so we can’t make these little sprouts grow any faster than Mother Nature intended.

If you want to get your new fields off to a strong healthy start our first class lavender plants will be worth the wait. You can find our order form under the wholesale tab. Fill it out and send us your wish list. Victor will review all the orders and let you know what he might be able to supply for shipment in June but most varieties will have to wait until Fall.

We can’t emphasize enough how important it is to order early. We have to start planning months in advance for Spring sales. Having your order in early will avoid planting setbacks or not getting the varieties you want. The way things are going now, if you wish to place a ‘Special Order’ for plugs it must be received by October 31, orders for 2 1/2″or 3″ trays must be received by December 31. Orders received after those dates will be fill on a first come first serve basis with available varieties.

We don’t like upsetting the Lavender Cart

Nearly Sold Out Again

January 6th, 2016 by Jacki

Two and a half Inch PotGREENHOUSEThree and a Half Inch Pot

Our plants are so popular across the country that we are sold out of most varieties for delivery this spring. We’ve added a new greenhouse to accommodate for our growth last season and still we can’t keep up with the increased demand this season.

We are overwhelmed and grateful for the confidence people have in our lavender plants but we have real mixed emotions about this situation. We are absolutely thrilled that our plants are selling so well but dismayed that we may not be able to completely fill orders that come in now. Any orders received after today will not be available to ship until at least June which may be too late for successful planting in some parts of the US and Canada and that will be for select varieties only.

If you want to order plants, please download the order form, fill it out and submit it to us as soon as possible. (Please remember that there is a 4 tray minimum order) Victor will review the orders and let you know via email what we will be able to provide for you. If you are looking for X Intermedia, they should still be in fairly good supply.

As June is skirting the edge of planting season in many regions we highly encourage you place orders now for fall delivery and planting. Ordering early is the surest way to guarantee you receive all the varieties you want.
