Things you should know about shipping…

We take great pride in providing you with the healthiest lavender available – ready for you to plant. Victor personally packs each order to arrive safely at your destination.

We know shipping charges can be costly. We ship all our orders to arrive within 5 days – they won’t sit around in some distribution center over the weekend. Our preference is to ship via USPS Priority Mail – it has proven to be the most reliable way. For shipments to some locations and during warm summer months it may require that your plants be shipped by priority means. You will be billed only for the actual shipping charges plus our standard box charge of  $7.00 per box. (Each box holds 4 trays. Minimum charge $7.00) There are no additional ‘Handling Charges”

To help you estimate your shipping charges we have provided the UPS Zone Map below and links to UPS and USPS shipping estimate pages. Any to shipment to areas of yellow, gold, green and possibly some western portions of the red* (*depending on weather conditions at time of shipment) can be shipped via UPS Ground. Any locations in orange must be shipped via USPS Priority Mail. (The day (Monday) UPS recieves the shipment does not count as a transit day so shipments would not make it by Friday to areas shown in orange)

To help you determine shipping costs a box containing 4 trays weighs, on average, 52 lbs. The box dimensions are 22″ x 22″ x 16″. The shipment originates in zip code 98382.

Very Important – Please inspect your shipment immediately upon arrival. If there is any damage please note this when you sign for your delivery. If a damage claim needs to be filed notify us immediately of the damage. Please take pictures of the condition of the box and contents and forward them to us. There is a limited time to file a claim for damages. All plants leave our farm securely packaged but once they are gone we have no control over their handling. Each shipment is insured for $100. You have the option of adding additional insurance which currently costs $2.00 per each $100.00 of value. Please note on your order if you wish to purchase this additional insurance.

Now Taking Orders for 2017

April 27th, 2016 by Jacki

Hidcote Blue

Yup – That’s right – 2017.

The Lavender Business is absolutely blooming!!

Just a quick informational note to let you know that any large orders received now will not be available for shipping until spring of 2017. We will still be able to fill smaller orders for select varieties for fall planting. You can download and submit our order form and we will let you know if it will be available for shipping this fall.

Please remember that we have a 4 tray minimum order. Four trays also fit snugly in our shipping boxes. Odd numbers of trays leave the risk of damage during shipment as it is difficult to secure them.

We’re planting as fast as we can……….

January 28th, 2016 by Jacki

CULTIVARSand still we can’t keep up!

Except for small orders of certain varieties, any orders received now will not be available for shipment until the fall planting season. We regret that this may set some of you back in your plans but we have just simply been overwhelmed with lavender orders again this year. Our quality lavender plants are so popular all over North America that we are sold out again. We’ve added another greenhouse to accommodate our growth last year but it appears that one was not enough. The lavender is selling faster than we can grow it. We don’t use any chemical fertilizers or artificial light so we can’t make these little sprouts grow any faster than Mother Nature intended.

If you want to get your new fields off to a strong healthy start our first class lavender plants will be worth the wait. You can find our order form under the wholesale tab. Fill it out and send us your wish list. Victor will review all the orders and let you know what he might be able to supply for shipment in June but most varieties will have to wait until Fall.

We can’t emphasize enough how important it is to order early. We have to start planning months in advance for Spring sales. Having your order in early will avoid planting setbacks or not getting the varieties you want. The way things are going now, if you wish to place a ‘Special Order’ for plugs it must be received by October 31, orders for 2 1/2″or 3″ trays must be received by December 31. Orders received after those dates will be fill on a first come first serve basis with available varieties.

We don’t like upsetting the Lavender Cart

Heads Up on Lavender Availability

January 27th, 2015 by victor

Royal VelvetJust want to let everyone know that we are nearly sold out of plants for the Spring planting season. The ship date for any orders received in the next few weeks (after today, January 27, 2015) will be late May and June. We will do our best but unfortunately we cannot guarantee that we will be able to supply all varieties requested in time for spring planting. We will keep you posted but very shortly we will be sold out of a lot of varieties that would be ready for Spring Planting. The next crop will be available for shipping in September and October suitable for fall planting. The good news is we still have plenty of the most popular varieties, Grosso, Provence, Royal Velvet and Melissa.

We want to stress the importance and encourage everyone to place your orders early. We estimate our propagation needs based on orders received in November and December.

Please send us your wish list, Victor will review them and let you know what we have available and when we will be able to ship.

Lavender is so popular, we keep growing and growing but still find it hard to keep up with the increasing demand for our quality lavender plants. Not a totally bad thing.

Order By December 31, 2014 – Save Money

December 5th, 2014 by Jacki

Victor's lavender Order Form
Here’s a heads up for all of you who will be placing lavender orders for next year. If you order by December 31st you will save some money. Plant prices will be going up on January 1st. Not that we wanted to raise our prices but you all know that story. The cost of materials to blend the soil, trays and pots, utilities to heat the greenhouses – just everything has gone up so much that we just can’t absorb those additional expenses again this coming year. We hope you will give us a few points for not increasing prices for the last 3 or 4 years. We are also offing a wholesale discount structure for your orders.

2% discount on orders of $2,000.00 – $4,999.00
5% for orders of $5,000.00 – $9,999.00
10% on orders of $10,000.00 or more.

We will also begin using a new order form at the first of the year. It will be a PDF Fill In form with a slightly new look. You can download this form and fill it in on your computer. This will help us tremendously because – let’s face it – not everybody has perfect penmanship. We sometimes have difficulty deciphering names, addresses, phone numbers, all the important stuff necessary to get your lavender plants delivered safely to  your door. We do hope that you will use this new feature. For now, submitting your orders will be the same as before. Download, fill it out, and then you can scan it and return it to us via email to or you can fax it to us at 360 683-7830. And of course there’s still the snail mail option by mailing it to us at PO Box 2293, Sequim, WA 98382. There is some additional information required on this new form so please fill it out completely. Please note that Washington State residents must provide a Resellers Permit number and expiration date or we will add sales tax to that order. And hey, we made it easy for you by including a spot on the order form.

We are looking forward to providing all your lavender needs this coming season. You can be assured that you will be receiving the highest quality plants grown and backed by one of the country’s premier lavender growers.

November 21st, 2014 by Jacki

Have we got lavender for you!

Our greenhouses are full to the brim once again with lavender plants waiting to make their home in your field or garden next spring. After our unexpected sell out last season we are really happy to see the greenhouses full again. We try to increase our plant production every year to accommodate the growing popularity of  lavender. Last year we maxed out our space as well as any vacant greenhouses we could find to meet the demand but it still just wasn’t quite enough. This year we are building another greenhouse here at the farm that will enable us to meet the ever increasing demand for lavender. Let’s hear it for the Lavender Industry!

If you are planning on planting in the spring – don’t wait to order. Get your orders in now so we can plan our propagation needs and guarantee that you will get the varieties you want.

If you are new to the business of lavender or you are thinking about starting a lavender farm now is a good time to contact us for a consultation. Learn from one of the countries top lavender experts. Victor can help you with any questions or concerns you might have. Lavender Alert!

February 26th, 2014 by victor

Well here it is – we’ve got some good news and we’ve got some bad news. First for the good news – We still have plenty of the best and most reliable  lavender varieties available for spring planting. We have Grosso, Royal Velvet, Folgate and Provence. The bad news – we are totally sold out of all other varieties. All of our field stock for these other varieties is gone. Those of you who placed early preseason orders will be fine. In fact we should have enough to cover all of our preseason orders so not to worry. Your plants are warming their toes in the greenhouse right now. We will have all the varieties available again by fall but probably not much before that unless we can find another source of cuttings for propagation. It never hurts to ask though. Perhaps someone will change an order making a flat or two of these other varieties available. Please call first to check on availability. We do hope Mother Nature begins to cooperate soon. Some of you have had a pretty rough winter and are probably more than ready for some signs of spring to show up. What better way to cheer yourself up than with some nice lavender plants!

Remember – Next year – Get your orders in early!

Lavender Growers – Now is the Time to Order – SAVE 10%

September 24th, 2012 by victor

Plant Trays Ready to Ship

For the next few months I will be propagating lavender for planting next spring. For those of you who plan ahead (as we all swear we will do) now is the time to place your order for next spring shipment. This helps in two ways, one – you don’t have to think about it again, and two – I know what to grow so that everyone will have the varieties and quantities they need when it is time to plant. Doesn’t that sound like a great plan. I would hate to disappoint anyone by not having the variety or quantity they are looking for when planting time rolls around. Placing your pre-season order now guarantees that your plants will be ready when you are. As an added bonus if you order before December 31, 2012 you will receive a 10% discount on your plants.

Minimum order is two trays which, coincidentally, fit very securely in our shipping boxes. (How clever is that?) The plant trays are bundled and packaged to arrive safely at your door.

Ready to Label and Ship

To place your order, download the order form on our website, fill it out and fax it to us at 360 683-7830 or you can email us with your request. Please be sure to print clearly on your form as faxes tend to get a little fuzzy sometimes. If you don’t see a particular variety on the order form give us a call. We may have it or will find it for you.

So, all you wholesale growers, let’s sleep a little easier this winter. Place your orders now.
