Lavender Alert!

Well here it is – we’ve got some good news and we’ve got some bad news. First for the good news – We still have plenty of the best and most reliable  lavender varieties available for spring planting. We have Grosso, Royal Velvet, Folgate and Provence. The bad news – we are totally sold out of all other varieties. All of our field stock for these other varieties is gone. Those of you who placed early preseason orders will be fine. In fact we should have enough to cover all of our preseason orders so not to worry. Your plants are warming their toes in the greenhouse right now. We will have all the varieties available again by fall but probably not much before that unless we can find another source of cuttings for propagation. It never hurts to ask though. Perhaps someone will change an order making a flat or two of these other varieties available. Please call first to check on availability. We do hope Mother Nature begins to cooperate soon. Some of you have had a pretty rough winter and are probably more than ready for some signs of spring to show up. What better way to cheer yourself up than with some nice lavender plants!

Remember – Next year – Get your orders in early!

Mark your calendars!
You won’t want to miss the 26th Annual
Northwest Women’s Show.

Come visit me and Barb Landbeck (many of you may know her from Moose Dreams Lavender) at our booth!  We will be participating for the first time this year and we are very excited about it. We will have our booth packed full of our great lavender products. Come early……..We’ll be giving away  a free Lavender Guest Soap to the  first 50 people who visit our booth!

This is a great show that honors Women Entrepreneurs from all over the Northwest. Now celebrating its 26th year, this show has it all. Come meet some these women, learn their secrets of success. Maybe you’ve been thinking of starting a business of your own – this is a great place to gather a wealth of information. All of these people started with an idea too. Learn from somebody who’s been there. Three stages will be set up so there will be speakers most all day every day. Victor Gonzalez (that’s me) and Barbara Landbeck  will be among the speakers at this event. We will be sharing information on our product production, the benefits of lavender essential oil and marketing. Time permitting – I may even talk about plants. We will keep you posted as to the stage, time and date of our presentation. With 400  booths and exhibits there’s sure to be something for everyone.  From gardening (close to our hearts), crafting and cuisine to fitness and philanthropy, the list just goes on and on.

Please come visit our booth at Century Link Field Event Center in Seattle, March 21-23. Look for our ‘Victor’s Lavender’ sign in booth #1419 located on the corner by the Wine Garden (how lucky can you get?!) We’re looking forward to seeing some familiar faces and to meeting a lot of new folks who are interested in the Business of Lavender.

You can check out this link for more information on some of the featured speakers and events during the this year’s show https://www.facebook.com/NWWomensShow

We look forward to seeing you there!
